Spirit Rock is an insight meditation centre founded by Jack Kornfield and others in the 1980s, on 411 acres of oak woodland in West Marin County. It holds residential silent retreats of up to two months, with rooms for 96 retreatants, as well as daylong programs and classes. It does not offer self-retreats.
Choose a retreat on the centre's own website and register there. IMS takes a deposit on registration and offers sliding-scale rates and scholarships.
