Dhamma Kunja ('grove of Dhamma'), the Northwest Vipassana Center, is on 50 acres in rural western Washington, about two hours' drive from both Seattle and Portland. It was established in August 1991.
Apply online through the centre's page on dhamma.org (in Nepal, start from np.dhamma.org). New students must first complete a 10-day course, and there is no charge.
