IMC-USA is the American centre of the Sayagyi U Ba Khin and Mother Sayamagyi tradition, founded in 1988 on an 11-acre rural property near Westminster; its first course was held in January 1989. It has a pagoda built in 1991, a Dhamma hall and dormitories, and holds 10-day courses about six times a year under the auspices of IMC UK.
