Wat Suan Mokkh is the forest monastery founded by Buddhadasa Bhikkhu near Chaiya in southern Thailand. It started in 1932 and moved to its present site around 1940. Between the monthly retreats at its nearby International Dharma Hermitage, foreigners may stay for self-practice for up to seven days.
Register in person at the hermitage by 3 pm on the last day of the month before the retreat. There is no advance booking by post, phone or email.
