Dhamma Kancana ('gold of Dhamma') was Thailand's fifth centre, with its first 10-day course in November 2006. It is on 22 acres in Sangkhla Buri district near the Myanmar border, about 330 km from Bangkok, surrounded by forest.
Apply online through the centre's page on dhamma.org (in Nepal, start from np.dhamma.org). New students must first complete a 10-day course, and there is no charge.
