Bodhinyana is the monks' forest monastery of the Buddhist Society of Western Australia, in Ajahn Chah's lineage. It was begun in 1983, is named after Ajahn Chah (Bodhinyana) and has about twenty monks living in huts on 242 acres south-east of Perth. Ajahn Brahm has been abbot since 1995.
Write to the monastery's guest monk well in advance (Wat Pah Nanachat asks for at least two weeks) and expect to follow its full routine on eight precepts. Wat Pah Nanachat also expects earlier retreat experience.
