A small centre (about 850 sq m) inside the premises of Nakkhu Prison in Lalitpur, established on 20 February 2024; it is built, maintained and run by the Vipassana trust, not by the prison. It holds single-gender 10-day courses for prisoners from prisons across Nepal and for government officials, with capacity for 48 students and servers; it is not a public course venue.
Apply online through the centre's page on dhamma.org (in Nepal, start from np.dhamma.org). New students must first complete a 10-day course, and there is no charge.
