Chanmyay Yeiktha Meditation Centre

Chanmyay Yeiktha is a vipassana centre and monastery in Mayangone, Yangon, whose abbot and chief teacher is Chanmyay Sayadaw Ashin Janakabhivamsa. Monks, lay people and foreigners do individual Mahasi-style retreats there, and some assistant teachers speak English. Its branches in Myanmar include Hmawbi, Hinthada, Pyin Oo Lwin and Taunggyi.

Apply to each centre directly. Panditarama Lumbini asks you to read its guidelines and then contact it to agree your dates; IBMC Kathmandu wants a signed form at least a week ahead.
