Established in 1991 on a quiet 14-hectare property near the Arabian Sea, 22 km west of the port town of Mandvi, the centre has a 188-cell pagoda, a main hall for 300 and three smaller halls, and 145 single rooms with attached baths plus shared space for 40 more. Its schedule covers everything from children's courses to 60-day courses.
Apply online through the centre's page on dhamma.org (in Nepal, start from np.dhamma.org). New students must first complete a 10-day course, and there is no charge.
