Dhamma Sikhara ('Peak of Dhamma') occupies three acres of deodar forest at about 2,000 m in the Dhauladhar range, next to Dharamkot village above McLeodganj. It can be reached by taxi, auto-rickshaw or a steep 1.5 km walk from McLeodganj's main square; its first course was held in 1994.
Apply online through the centre's page on dhamma.org (in Nepal, start from np.dhamma.org). New students must first complete a 10-day course, and there is no charge.
