Dhamma Sarana ('refuge of Dhamma') is in Santana de Parnaíba, 45 km from downtown São Paulo. The property covers 196 hectares, most of it protected by environmental law, leaving about five hectares for buildings. Its first course was held in 2016.
Apply online through the centre's page on dhamma.org (in Nepal, start from np.dhamma.org). New students must first complete a 10-day course, and there is no charge.
